Committed to Making Each Player Better Everyday

My coaching philosophy is to question my players, rather than tell them what to do. For example, when I feel that there is a coaching moment; I will ask the players why they think I stopped the drill before explaining to them. This to me is the best way to help the younger generation retain information and understand what we expect as coaches. If I do not get an answer, I will make sure they tell me they aren’t sure. This is because I have felt this helps the players understand I won’t be upset if they aren’t sure what they did well/could improve on.

I plan on using this during my trainings when I want my players to focus on specific mannerisms during their technique.
